Australia

You can't just go to Australia for a weekend. Give yourself time to really explore by choosing two or three stops for your Australia vacation: the iconic sails of the Sydney Opera House and the laneway cafés of Melbourne, the snorkeling and diving of the Great Barrier Reef, or the red heart of the Outback, where Uluru glows at sunrise and sunset (my personal favorite). Drive the Great Ocean Road for coastal views and wild koalas, meet kangaroos and wombats, or sip your way through the cellar doors of the Barossa Valley and Margaret River. Spring (September to November) and fall (March to May) offer comfortable weather in much of the country.
